1. The service

Rent Showcase is a peer-to-peer equipment rental marketplace connecting renters and equipment owners in Finland. The service is intended for lawful personal and commercial use only.

2. User accounts

• Creating an account requires a valid email address.
• You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.
• Report any unauthorised access immediately to privacy@rent-showcase.fi.

3. Rental agreements

Rent Showcase acts as a platform only and is not a party to any agreement between renters and owners. Payment, pickup, return, and insurance are the sole responsibility of the parties involved. We do not process payments.

4. Prohibited content

• Listing illegal or dangerous items is prohibited.
• Misleading descriptions or pricing is prohibited.
• Harassing or defrauding other users is prohibited.

5. Limitation of liability

Rent Showcase is not liable for any damages, losses, or disputes arising from rental transactions. The service is provided as-is without warranties of availability or fitness for a particular purpose.

6. Account termination

You may delete your account at any time from the profile page. We reserve the right to suspend or close accounts that violate these terms.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by Finnish law. Any disputes shall be resolved in the Helsinki District Court.
