How to rent equipment

  1. Find equipment — browse listings by category, location, or keyword on the Browse Equipment page.
  2. Check availability — on the listing page, see which dates are already booked or blocked by the owner.
  3. Submit a booking request — select your dates and send the owner a request. You can include an optional note.
  4. Wait for confirmation — the owner will confirm or reject your request. If the listing uses auto-accept, your booking is confirmed immediately.
  5. Coordinate the details — use the booking message thread to arrange pickup and payment directly with the owner.

How to list equipment for rent

  1. Create an account — register as a person or company.
  2. Create a listing — add a title, description, pricing, photos, and location. You can set daily, weekend, weekly, and monthly rates.
  3. Manage availability — block dates when the equipment is unavailable. Confirmed bookings are marked automatically.
  4. Respond to requests — confirm or reject incoming requests from the Booking Requests page. You can also enable auto-accept to confirm all qualifying requests automatically.
  5. Coordinate the details — communicate with your renter through the booking message thread and arrange pickup and payment.
Note: Payments happen directly between the parties — Rent Showcase does not process payments. Be cautious about sharing personal contact details with people you don't know.
